We’re ready to start unveiling workshop information for SND Louisville, and the countdown is now underway. We’re pretty far along curating a great lineup of speakers. We’re excited, and not very good at keeping secrets; so, we’re not going to wait for one big reveal a couple months before the conference when the schedule is set. We’re announcing five speakers this week, and every week after we’ll unveil at least two names.. We’re still fine tuning session titles and descriptions, and we’ll update those as they and the schedule solidify.
Today we’re happy to announce Jaap Biemans and Jon Hill to the lineup. Biemans is Art Director of Volkskrant magazine, but you probably know him best as the founder of Coverjunkie. Jon Hill is the design editor of The Times of London. The Times was an 2012 SND competition darling with their olympic coverage and science magazine Eureka.

Lonely Planet named Louisville as the top U.S. travel destination of 2013, so each week at sndlou.com, we’re going to show you why it deserves that honor, and why you can’t miss this year’s workshop. Fantastic design, food, racing, art and bourbon – what more could you ask for?
Also, we’re going to make SND history with what we hope will become an annual tradition at the fall workshop. Check back in a couple weeks for the big announcement. Again, we’re terrible at keeping secrets, so we can’t wait much longer to spill the details.
